Former Senator Angela Giron was on CNN today, trying to make excuses for why she lost her recall election on Tuesday in an overwhelmingly Democratic district. But, as AllahPundit put it, the CNN reporter’s tolerance for BS was at low tide today and pressed Giron to move past her tired talking points.

Ok, so, not having mail-in ballots only affected people who supported her? Dream on, broomstick cowboy! As one poster said…if it mattered to people, they found a way to get out and vote over all of the days that the polls were open. I've not heard one citizen report that they were unable to vote without mail-in.
People do what is important to them. They go to the grocery store, go to church, go to renew their drivers license, go to the bank, and they go to the polling place. They have for over 25 years and they will continue to do WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO THEM. They are not suppressed, they are free to do as they please. Unfortunate for Angela, they choose NOT TO GO VOTE in support of her. There is less of a chance of fraud when you vote in person. Angela could not work her fraudulent voting process under these rules. You loose Angela, not because voters were suppressed but because voters SPOKE with a fair process!

Connie Sue I agree! What happened in this recall election was FRAUD suppression! I didn't realize it was 12 days, my husband started working at the election Dept on the 3rd. This is more than enough time to get it done! Angela sure doesn't want her constituents getting too smart now does she?!

Amen Karen, the polls here in Pueblo were open from Aug 30th – Sept 10th. That is 12 DAYS FULL DAYS! We need to get rid of the mail in ballots. It is allowing un-American people in our Government. It is the most corrupt, easily manipulated, flood of fraud into our Elections. The integrity of our Elections & polls must be guarded & kept honest. There is no way it can be with mail in ballots.
Voter suppression? "We didn't have access to mail in ballots"? Who didn't Giron? You & your cheating bunch of progressives? You couldn't mail in ballots for "the people who couldn't get to the polls". They couldn't get to the polls at anytime during the 12 DAYS they were open to vote? So either her supporters were unusually lazy (in which case, who cares how they would have voted since it wasn't worth the effort for them to make their wishes known), or the people she relied on to vote for her didn't actually think she was worth supporting.

Spending for the election:
Bloomberg and his Anti-Gun rhetoric groups spent $127.16 per vote (23,952 votes/$3,000,000).
NRA and other pro 2nd Amendment groups spent $19.68 per vote (28,449 votes/ $560,000).
If they can't get their message across using more than 6 times the amount of money the winning team had, just what does she think it would take to be "fair"?
Bottom line: Voters didn't elect her to RULE over them, but to REPRESENT them. She wanted to RULE and they fired her.

There always has been a problem with mail-in ballots, especially when dead people vote.. or people who have moved out of state vote… or people who can't read vote… or people who let their kids vote for them…. Giron, needs a vacation to get her head screwed back on right… someone has screwed it too far to the left….

Look at the numbers, there were more votes to recall her than there were Republicans who voted… That means Democrats and Independents (the ones that elected her in the first place) voted to recall her…
