Regardless of who you’re supporting in the 2014 governor’s race, you have to vote the recent video from the Tancredo for Governor crew most creative thus far. The Halloween-themed fairy tale is the story of “Hickenlooper’s Monster”, aka Amendment 66. In the video, former U.S. Congressman Tom Tancredo appropriately calls Amendment 66 a “tax hike dressed up in a costume to look like education reform”.
In addition to explaining why Amendment 66 is a terrible idea, the video features a cast of characters, such as Witch, the leader of the liberal town council; Mummy and his band of wealthy, out-of-touch friends; and Zombie, the head of the local union, “who had an insatiable appetite for all things alive”. Feel free to match the characters with their real life counterparts, if you dare.
