State Sen. Morgan Carroll is running for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, which is currently held by national security hawk Rep. Mike Coffman. Because Coffman is such a dependable vote on national security, it’s only natural that Coloradans would want to know where Carroll stands on the Iran Deal Capitulation. That’s why it’s so disheartening to not only see Carroll avoiding the line of questioning altogether, but smirking as she does so.

America Rising asks Carroll whether she agrees with Secretary of State John Kerry that the Iran Deal will lead to the funding of terrorism:

Carroll’s smirk is particularly disturbing because just a couple of weeks ago, three Americans were kidnapped in Iraq – and the Iran Deal may be partially to blame. From the Washington Post:

“[Asaib Ahl al-Haq] is a wholly owned subsidiary of Iran’s Quds Force. It is inconceivable that it could kidnap and hold Americans — a course of action with significant international repercussions — without at least the acquiescence, and probably the active support, of Tehran. Yet the Obama administration is doing all it can to obfuscate that reality. Reuters cited ‘U.S. government sources’ in reporting that ‘Washington had no reason to believe Tehran was involved in the kidnapping and did not believe the trio were being held in Iran, which borders Iraq.'”

Carroll had better come up with an answer on the Iran Deal quick (and without smirking). If her answer is to support it, she had better hope those kidnapped Americans come home without a scratch on them.
