Hillary Rodham ClintonAs the presidential race tightens in Colorado and Trump leads in key polls, the Donald is moving to solidify that advantage by making his second visit here in a matter of weeks, and filling the airspace vacated by Hillary.

Trump will hold a rally on Monday at 6 p.m. at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland. It follows on the heels of Trump Jr.’s rally on the Western Slope last week, and recent appearances by daughter Ivanka and Vice Presidential contender Mike Pence in Colorado Springs.

“The recent polls have shown us time and time again that Colorado is very much in play for this election. Mr. Trump’s visit on Monday proves he will continue to earn the trust of Colorado voters between now and election day,” said Patrick Davis, Trump’s Colorado senior advisor.

Real Clear Politics shows Trump’s polling average has him pulling ahead in Colorado.

Meanwhile, the only event on Hillary’s schedule for Monday is a fundraiser in Brussels, Belgium, hosted by a former U.S. ambassador-at-large for global criminal justice.

It’s not clear whether Hillary will attend that fundraiser, or another one scheduled for Tuesday in Sweden, and a London fundraiser on Wednesday.

Not only is she running out of voters, it looks like she’s running out of funders in the U.S., as well.
