In a wide ranging interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business News, Coloradan Jim Nicholson, an attorney with the Denver law firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, and a former VA Secretary, RNC Chairman, and Ambassador to the Vatican, zeroed in on the Clinton Campaign’s Catholic bashing that was disclosed in last week’s tranche of Wikileaks emails.

About the Wikileaks dump Nicholson said “the most troubling thing that I’ve seen is when they [Clinton campaign] deride Catholics…very revealing to me about the mindset that they have about the Catholic Church.”  An example that Nicholson used was the mockery of Rupert Murdock, who was inducted to the prestigious Order of St. Gregory the Great by Pope John Paul II.  Clinton’s people were making fun of the fact that Murdock had his children baptized in the Jordan River – the same place where John the Baptist baptized Jesus.  Nicholson called the ridicule of Catholics found in the Wikileaks documents “far more outrageous than what we are hearing about a couple macho guys in a bus eleven years ago.” Just watch:

Nicholson went on to comment that Hillary Clinton has worked against the Catholic Church for 30 years, and the cornerstone of her anti-Christian worldview is her long-held “advocacy of open, taxpayer subsidized abortion.”  He said that there is a clear contract between the two parties on the matter of life.

Although it will be difficult – given the media’s massive support for Hillary Clinton – Americans need to see through the noise of wedge issues and Page Six distractions and take a look at which candidate is for the strength of America at home and abroad and maximum opportunity for citizens who have the drive and desire to do great things within the amazing framework that was put in place here more than two centuries ago.
