As of mid-afternoon, the Democrats are still watching their share of the returned ballot count diminish, as it has every single day since the Secretary of State started releasing ballot counts on October 24th.

As of 2:11 p.m., Republicans are holding a 36,066 lead in returned ballots, according to the Secretary of State, and Coloradans have cast 2,404,846 ballots.  Republicans accounting for 34.8% of returned ballots and Democrats with 33.3%.

Polls close at 7 p.m. today.

In 2012, there were 2,569,516 presidential votes cast, and we expect more than that for this year’s vote. This afternoon’s ballot chase break down is below:
