Negative Ninnies are filling Facebook and Twitter feeds with so much angry news, we wanted to begin the day with a little bipartisan something we can all agree on — tax breaks for craft beer breweries.
Celebration in the streets, right?
The bipartisan bill is authored by U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner and Ron Wyden of Oregon, to reduce federal excise taxes and ease some federal regulations for the industry, so that We The People can continue to enjoy our American birthright of moderately priced beer.
“Colorado is home to more than 350 small and independent brewers that employ more than 20,000 people. The industry contributes significantly to our state’s economy, and it’s important that Washington doesn’t stand in the way of its continued success,” said Gardner.
