Presidents historically get a honeymoon period after being sworn into office when the media plays nice and writes a bunch of fluffy feature stories.
But not President Trump. The media went straight for the jugular the moment he reached the White House, erroneously reporting the bust of Martin Luther King was removed.
Reporting skills have not much improved.

Why yes Jimmy, that is the Gold King Mine spill that CNN is proudly displaying while accusing Congress of rolling back regulations from their beloved Obama era.
By all means, let’s roll back whatever regulation allowed the Obama administration to actually cause that spill.
If the media doesn’t want to be accused of spreading fake news, they should be more careful not to report that the Gold King Mine spill was caused by an Obama regulation. It was caused by incompetence on the part of Obama administration employees.
