Joe Salazar’s disgraceful remarks calling his fellow State House Representative Dave Williams “half-Latino”, here is one of the best takedowns of the left’s identity politics that we’ve seen in some time. Clark set the scene by explaining that Salazar called Williams “half-Latino” at a Colorado Latino Forum event. Clark interviewed Salazar who doubled down on his ridiculous statement, and then launched into a monologue about how only the conservatives that comment on his show are stripped of their identities due to their politics by viewers. Oh, and, by the way, Salazar still hasn’t apologized for his remarks or to Williams. Colorado is still waiting, Representative.
“This isn’t about identity politics.” So says Joe Salazar. If it’s not about identity politics, why did YOU emphasize his ethnicity?? Jackass. Before you speak, play the Substitution Game: imagine YOUR reaction if a Republican said something like that. How would YOU react, Sir?
