I have written editorials to be cautious of the fine print on these so-called gun bills. This is just another example of how out of touch politicians in Washington D.C.have become. Many do not know the difference between a semi-automatic sporting firearm as opposed to a fully automatic firearm. So they lump anything over a single shot into the same legislation.The ironic part of this is that when new gun laws are enacted, only honest people will pay attention. Do these idiots really think the criminals will obey this slap in honest gun owners faces? Thankfully, a few of our Senators and Congress members have a little common sense and understand the role firearms play in this country for home protection, hunting as a Conservation tool and target practice. In the meantime, the millions of honest firearms owners are being punished for the act of a few lunatics.

I was elated to attend my first legislative hearing at the CO State Capitol, let alone, be able to speak and address my opposition to the Demoncrats many draconian anti-gun bills being discussed in committees.

But as I was listening to hours of proceedings, I felt like I was in the Soviet 'People's congress' where Lenin himself was pushing for these tyrannical laws restricting the peasants' Right to bear arms!
