Even the president describes modern sporting rifles as "automatic weapons". Michelle also repeated this erroneous gaff. The fact that so many call them assault weapons (which are by definition, also full auto) simply murkys the public waters. They spread disinfo, some by intent others by ignorance, so we will see the 2nd amendment destroyed by their control of the dialogue.

While knowledgeable people find hilarity in this legislators' ignorance, they should also remember that she is voting to infringe on the Bill of Rights armed only with misinformation. She spreads this misinformation to her supporters who actually embrace ignorance. Colorado will get gun control laws based on this special type of stupidity. Then Obama will hold Colorado up as the example all other states should follow, and eventually the Federal Government.

What's ironic, is everyone sat in that room and not one pointed out just how wrong she is. Never let facts get in the way of agenda, especially when destroying the Bill Of Rights. Facts have no place in the shredding of our Constitution. Remember, socialism/statism is a good thing. Say it over and over while ignoring history. Big government is our friend. They give away free stuff to people they like.

Unfortunately, even if you make idiots like DeGette illegal, they will just reload their brains with more garbage and, eventually they get reelected and they're back in circulation, spewing stupidity. Not like magazines and clips, which, according to this expert, can only be used once and then must be thrown away.
