That's hilarious. "Colorado saw more firearms purchased and put on the streets" That's hilarious considering everyone I know who bought weapons do not carry them on the streets. All are responsible adults with years of weapons handling and safety training.

This is partially true. The CBI fee is $10 but the dealers who are doing these checks then charge for their own time – and usually more than the law's unenforceable "maximum" of $10 additional.

Imagine that, the gun grabbers will prevent lawful owners from buying a firearm, by hook or by crook.

I wonder how this same problem has affected anyone for a pre-employment background check.

We not only need to get rid of the law requiring checks for private sales we need to get rid of the separate check that Colorado runs period. It's a waste of time and resources.
