In a slap across Democrats’ face, a poll on Obamacare released by Kaiser Health News shows the uninsured are against the legislation by a margin of two to one.
The very people the law was meant to help the most hate Obamacare.
Those with an unfavorable opinion of the law increased from 43% in December to 47% in January, while those with a favorable opinion of the law drastically dropped from 36% in December to 24% in January.
This is not good news for liberal Senator Mark Udall, who cast one of the deciding votes, and who even went as far as to promise that if you like your plan you can keep it. Now, 335,000 Coloradans have firsthand experience of why that promise was made “Lie of the Year” by PolitFact.
Democrats in the early 2000s, long derided Vice President Dick Cheney for his statement that American troops would be greeted as liberators in Iraq. Well, the tables have turned.
Udall-enabled Obamacare was jammed through Congress with the promise of reducing the rate of the uninsured (it hasn’t) and bringing down healthcare costs (HA!). Now, the very people who were used in the justification for such drastic measures have resoundingly rejected it.
Come Udall, be greeted by the uninsured as their great liberator!
Poor white trash letting their hatred of Obama color their view of Obamacare. "almost half of people without coverage were unaware the law includes subsidies to offset premium costs for people of low and moderate incomes."
