When you go fishing to find a negative in an industry that has been in business for a hundred years and has been using hydraulic fracturing for 80 years you can always find 1 catastrophe. Are you going to ban airlines next because an airline crashes every so often? How about the auto industry because those can crash and cause deaths as well? The reality is you are not looking at this rationally at all but instead being pulled into the emotional hype.

But then you will ignore this argument entirely because it doesn't fall into your emotional support structure therefore it can't possibly true… in your mind at least.

Jan is used by this industry, they need her at City Council so she can vote against all of the regulations that actually protect people and the environment. Have you seen her video that talks about how her industry cannot follow certain regulations because it's nearly impossible? For someone who works in "safety" she should be talking about THAT in public. But she was talking to her fellow peers at an oil and gas conference and they all know the truth, fracking cannot be regulated properly to ensure human safety and environmental protection.
