Gov. Polis says violent crimes at apartment complexes in Aurora does not merit his concern because they’re not under the complete control of a Venezuelan gang.
Just semi-control.
Polis also noted the victims are mostly migrants, as if that made the crimes less concerning.
The Democrat governor appeared on Fox News Sunday, and when asked about the apartment manager who was beaten up by a gang of Venezuelans, he dismissed that crime and claimed Trump made it up.

“These Venezuelan gangs are committing crimes against other Venezuelans. There’s been nine arrests in Colorado, and we hope that we got them all, and if not, we’re going to get them all. Okay?”
When asked why there wasn’t more concern about Colorado as a magnet for migrants because Denver is a Sanctuary City, Polis corrected the host that Aurora is not Denver, and claimed Denver isn’t having these issues … that he also claims Aurora is not having.
The solution to all these migrant issues Polis insisted is not happening in Colorado, is to elect Kamala Harris president.

She will prosecute all those criminals who do not exist and provide the border security that led to these non-existent problems, Polis claimed with a straight face.

“I think what we really need here is border security, and somebody in charge who is a former prosecutor and law enforcement official like Kamala Harris is going to get it done. When people commit a crime against our country, they’ve got to be out, no ifs, ands, or buts, that’s what Kamala Harris will do,” Polis said.
Too bad the Fox host didn’t ask if migrants arrested in Aurora and other Front Range cities Polis neglected to mention for numerous crimes had been removed from the country.
We expect to have heard a lot of ifs, ands, or buts coming from Polis.
The most bizarre gaslighting coming from Democrats and Polis is the claim Trump never provided border security during his term in office, which Polis repeated on Sunday.
When asked what Harris would do in the next four years to secure the border when she refused to do so in the last four years, Polis responded:
“I think they made some progress on the border in the last few months, of course. But look, this is somebody who’s been vice president. There’s a number of areas she’s outlined that she’s entirely different, a new face for our country, a new path forward.”
There you have it.
Some semblance of border control was permitted for a few months while Democrats were up for reelection, and Kamala is a different face.
Yet that’s part of the problem.
Kamala has so many different faces voters don’t trust them all, like her border face, the economy face, and especially her laughing face.
