Joe Biden isn’t the only one in Washington, D.C. who doesn’t have a clue to what’s going on in the world.
U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper’s brain has taken a leave of absence into the Twilight Zone where he’s dangerously misremembering important historical facts and confusing the Taliban with wayward teenagers who knocked over a mailbox.
CO’s two Senators failing a basic litmus test on character & competency on Afghanistan.
Bennet’s embrace of Biden strategy well documented.

Here’s what Hickenlooper told the Colorado Sun:
“We’ll have plenty of time to look back at who did what right and wrong,” he said.
“There are a bunch of smart people looking at that. I think it’s worth (looking at), as we’re processing so many of these tragedies we see around Afghanistan, what’s the new future going to look like? Is the Taliban going to return to the way it was? Are they going to try and actually be a more responsible government and represent all their people? We don’t know that yet.”
Yes senator, we do.
They’re the Taliban.
If you don’t remember all the gut-wrenching news reports nearly a decade leading up to the September 11 attacks and afterwards, Google their war crimes, their brutal treatment of women, how they torture and kill their enemies.
The media really should follow up on this and ask Hickenlooper what he means when he says the Taliban can be more responsible.
Like not stoning women to death for the crime of being raped? Giving them 100 lashes with a whip for adultery?
Letting women appear in public without those ridiculous burqas?
Forcing them into marriage where they are beaten and mutilated?
What kind of abusive relationship are Democrats getting us into with these Stone Age psychopaths who’ve overrun Afghanistan?
Hickenlooper might think there’s a “bunch of smart people” in the Biden administration who will assure so-called diplomatic relations and strongly worded letters will keep the Taliban in line.
But ask any survivor of domestic violence, and they’ll tell you not to trust the abuser when he promises never to beat a woman again.
