The Club 20 debates for key elections along the Western Slope including the 3rd Congressional District race are set for Sept. 21 at Colorado Mesa University.
It’s a day-long event of debates that will be capped when Republican Grand Junction attorney Jeff Hurd takes on Aspenite Democrat Adam Frisch at 6:40 p.m.
U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse of Boulder has also been invited, but has yet to confirm the debate with GOP nominee Marshall Dawson for the 2nd Congressional District race at 5:50 p.m.
Throughout the day, 30-minute debates will occur beginning with the state House seats in the morning, and state Senate races in the afternoon.

Separately, candidates for the 3rd Congressional District seat will participate in an online forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Colorado on Sept. 18 beginning at 6 p.m.
