Denver District Court Judge Hyatt dealt a stunning blow to the gun control crowd and ruled today that the recalls against anti-gun Senators Angela Giron and John Morse had valid petitions and may proceed.

The issue is likely to go to the Colorado Supreme Court, as Democrat lawyer Mark Grueskin has said he planned on doing if he lost.
Mark Grueskin, attorney for Morse and Giron, has indicated in previous discussions he will appeal to state Supreme Court. #coleg — Kurtis Lee (@kurtisalee) July 18, 2013

The righteous always prevail! Time for these politicians to realize they are not a monarchy! They are employed by WE THE PEOPLE!
Denver District Court Chief Judge would have had a difficult task in justifying any other ruling in this case, given the evidence and argument presented at trial (particularly in light of the clear and comprehensive ruling issued by the Deputy Secretary of State following last month's administrative hearing on the same complaint).
For analysis, including links to that previous ruling along with statutory and constitutional language governing recall petitions, read:

Good thing the judge wasn't H. Jeffrey Bayless, eh? (Amendment 2, 2006)
This entire exercise is a sordid stalling effort by Morse and Giron. In addition to what they have already cost Colorado citizens in increased regulations and taxes (or fees) during the legislative session, they now cost citizens time, money for court actions, and bring disgrace on themselves and our great state. Morse and Giron need to either resign or let us vote! We want no more of our elected officials doing the bidding of out-of-state interests. That goes for the governor and all officials elected by and paid for by Colorado taxpayers.
There are some butt hurt liberals now. This is just the start..
