This has to be one of the most disgusting actions that we have ever seen from the Jefferson County Education Association (JCEA), and that’s saying a lot. A new video out from the Independence Institute shows the depths that the JCEA and its pro-recall allies have sunk to in order to advance their agenda. According to the video, Jeffco School Board Member Julie Williams’ autistic son, Randy, was convinced by recall supporters last year to march with a recall sign against his own mother.
Check out the video below:
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the children of reform-minded school board members were targeted by the union. John Newkirk’s elementary school-aged children also experienced bullying that led him to transfer his children to a new school.
But, just remember that the JCEA is all for the kids. Well, unless it’s kids whose parents won’t push the union agenda. Then, it’s game on.
Alan Warner, are you actually dupable enough to fall for a troll using Ken Witt's name and sporting a Nacho Libre avatar?

Why after more than a day does thus falshood remain on your page without a correction and apology?

Awesome! Nice that Julie ALREADY had this investigated, at the expense of the school district, was provided the info that there was NO EVIDENCE that anything of the sort had actually occurred, and the Independence Institute releases the ad anyway. It's beyond ridiculous that anyone who opposes the effort to recall Witt, Newkirk and Williams has the gall to dispute recall supporters' claims of the lack of transparency this board majority opperates under, when the only tactic they can employ in their crusade to win over voters and thwart the recall is to lie and deceive. Here you go. PROOF from the school district that there is no evidence to corroborate the claims Julie Williams makes in this ridiculous ad, and that JULIE WILLIAMS KNEW THIS WELL IN ADVANCE OF THE AD'S RELEASE:

Patti Peters I'm pretty sure that when the supreme court ruled that parody was a protected form of speech (under that Constitution thingy), especially when it targets public officials, that they didn't say, "except when the community is small". I do have kids in school, and satire of a PUBLIC ELECTED OFFICIAL would not get my son suspended. If it did I would happily sue the district to hell and back. And, what's more, I would win that case — without any question at all. These arguments are all a matter of long settled law in our court systems. You conservative sorts are so funny… you're rabid when it comes to the Constitution when it suits your needs… but not so much when it doesn't.
Another fun point of history was “Publius”. Publius was the nom de plume of Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay when they wrote the Federalist Papers. Since you seem unfamiliar, the Federalist papers were their justification for ratifying the Constitution. Those pesky founding fathers hid behind a fake identity! Heavens to betsy, there's no room for that and they must not have been an honorable crowd!!
Hi again Celeste. I suspect we have friends in common based on your undergrad. I won't respond to Ray's comments as they mimic what you will see frequently while you peruse: take an issue and make it personal. By the way, I love political satire when a human has the integrity and fortitute to own it as the truly good ones do. Someone hiding behind a veil has no place in a local school district (but perhaps they aren't even in our district, perhaps this comes from NEA headquarters). In the apparently humorless, grey, dingy, hellhole of a place that I come from (and accurately describes a couple places my husband and I served), I have friends and colleagues that would talk me out participating in this type of destruction. We will find out Nov. 4th what kind of community Jeffco will be and how the next generation will converse with each other. Thanks for inquiring. I'm certain others were confused as well as was the intent.
Good morning to you to Ray. Another fine example of civil dialogue you present. Read and watch and enjoy political satire all the time from people who own their work. There is no place in our small personal community for people to hide behind their destruction. You must not have kids in school. They get suspended and expelled for this type of thing. Happy to acknowledge kenwittsofunny if they are willing to sign a real name and join an honorable crowd of satirists. I hope you feel better after your vent.
Celeste Archer I believe you are on the "kenwittsofunny" site and not the keep witt for jeffco schools. Sadly we have been inundated with fake FB accounts, non twitter bullying accounts and this site set up against the spirit of the FB terms as a fan club. Sadly, how could our kids benefit if this was all turned into productive energy
Cheryl Jones Elkins The alternatives are worst at this time. His behavior is still much better than the union.
He's offensive and you're still supporting him? It defies logic that you would support him in the recall when he clearly doesn't have any limiter that tells him when something is innappropriate. Name calling a sign of immaturity. Why do you want an immature man on your school board?
A disgusting lie. That lady is a sociopath.
Ken, you just lost my support. Using the word "libtard" is below the dignity of any public office. Its not funny. Just shows you are part of a broken system. I'll suppoet you in the recall but the next general election is your last. So sad our leaders behave like children.
Celeste Archer The entire Ken Witt page you were looking at. All satire/parody. Didn't you wonder why he was dressed in tights with a red cape?
Ray Randolph what is? The story or Witt's response? I'm sorry, but none of this is very clear and leaves the situation even more disturbing.
Satire/parody, Celeste.
Have you seen this??

On September 24th, 2014, I received an email from Dan McMinimee that attorney Brad Miller was asked to reach out to me by Board Member Juie Williams. Ms. Williams had informed Mr. Miller that her son, a special needs student was used as a “prop” to carry a protest sign during a parade at Standley Lake High School.
I spoke to Mr. Miller who provided a date of September 8th, 2014 as the date the incident occurred on. I assigned the video surveillance review to Manager of Security Operations Bill Kitamura and then contacted SLHS Principal Jeff Pierson and discussed the allegations. Principal Pierson was adamant that neither a parade nor protect occurred at or in the school.
Bill Kitamura and an emergency dispatcher together reviewed 30 hours of video from 15 cameras for the September 8th, the date that was provided to us. Nothing was found to indicate a parade or protest during this time period.
Following the video review, I contacted Mr. Miller to advise him of the findings. Mr. Miller stated that he would contact Ms. Williams and let her know that nothing was found. I advised Mr. Miller that I was happy to speak to Ms. Williams about the findings if she had further questions.
During the board meeting of October 2, 2014, Ms. Williams approached me during a break and thanked me for looking into the situation. Ms. Williams stated that it was possible that she had provided provided the wrong date and thought that the incident coudl have occurred on either September 18th, 2014 or September 22nd, 2014. I informed Ms. Williams that we would look at both dates and provide her an outcome. I contacted Principal Pierson and asked if he was aware of protest parades through the school on either of the new dates provided. Ms. Pierson stated that neither he nor his admin team were aware of any such incident.
Bill Kitamura and two emergency dispatchers reviewed video for 9/18 and 9/22 for the period of 7am to 3pm. 120 hours of video for each day were reviewed for a total of 240 hours of total video were reviewed. Nothing was found to indicate a parade or protest during this time period. The total cost to review the videos is $3,780.14.
Following the video review, I contacted Julie Williams and advised her that we were unable to find video of such an event and unable to substantiate that such an event had occurred. I advised Ms. Williams that if she had additional dates or times this could have occurred that we would need to know soon as the video would write over as new video came online. Ms. Williams thanked me for looking however was unable to provide any further information.
"There's this story floating around the social medias and from pro wrestling star Jon Calderama about how those bullying union thugs made Julie's son do something or other. I want people to know that it took us 6 hours to come up with this story, so we worked hard on it. And we're counting on people to spread it around as much as possible in the coming days in the hopes that it makes those bullying union thugs cry. Also, please give me more money."
Confused – this is what is posted on Ken Witt's site. Then there is a comment from him saying, "Let's go quiet on this Julie Williams thing." Ken, could you explain? Is this a joke on your part? Please help us understand.
Lies, Lies, Lies… and thousands of taxpayer dollars to prove it. http://www.supportjeffcokids.org/cora-proves-julie-williams-new-video-is-untrue-and-insulting/
What I am reading is that some say SLHS only participated in walkouts on Sept 19, the same day school closed. Wikipedia says differently. Says students protested on 22 Sept. also, a school day Julie's son would have been there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Jefferson_County_Public_Schools_protests
Preston, you're welcome! I'm just glad I could help in the effort to humiliate the libtards using "facts".
Thanks KenWittSoFunny for further proving the point.
I have put up my official response to this! https://www.facebook.com/KenWittSoFunny
