Handpicked Democratic candidate Jason Crow has not been honest with the voters of the Sixth Congressional District about whether he was recruited by reviled Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi and her friends at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee or not.
A recent article from the Washington Post shines on light on Crow’s shady dealings with the DCCC:
“That isn’t stopping many Democrats from jumping in. In Colorado, the DCCC is working with Jason Crow, an attorney and former Army Ranger who has decided to challenge Rep. Mike Coffman, a perennial Democratic target. Crow said the decision was clear for him.”
Despite potential interest from two black, female elected officials – Sen. Rhonda Fields and Rep. Janet Buckner – who actually live in the district, unlike Crow, the DCCC is working with its hand-picked candidate. This all sounds so…familiar. Kind of like when Bernie Sanders ran for President and Colorado rigged the system. And, then, national Democrats searched high and low for ways to undermine his campaign, like targeting his religion.
“The same month, in another email to DNC officials, another official identified only as ‘Marshall’ said of Sanders: ‘Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps.'”
The DNC is gross.
Nonetheless, it would appear that Democrats have prepared to stomp again on the grassroots of their party to support a candidate who will only lose again to U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman.
