Donna Lynne offered several weak excuses for going back on her word when she pledged not to run for governor when Hickenlooper handed her the reins of the lieutenant governor’s office.
What’s changed, she says, is she now has a year’s experience as Lt. governor and she loves a challenge, she told Channel 7 news.
Her interview sounded like an entry-level job interview at McDonalds. “I’ve been operating the fryer for a year now and I love a challenge, so I should be promoted to flip burgers.”
Dogs, children, even serial killers love a challenge, but that doesn’t mean they are qualified to lead Colorado.
If it’s a challenge she’s looking for, perhaps she should stick to climbing mountains.
