Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day across America, but we don’t expect much of a rush here in Colorado.
That’s because 90 percent of the state is already registered to vote.
Finally, the day we’ve been waiting for! #NationalVoterRegistrationDay is TODAY! Colorado makes it easy to register, go to https://t.co/KvzFKQVEGk or text “CO” to “2vote” (28683) #COpolitics #COleg pic.twitter.com/4LPDguhgd7

Secretary of State Wayne Williams says Colorado makes it easy to register, and is doing a number of media interviews to explain how: Just click here to register or change your address, or text to GoVoteColorado.com or text “CO” to “2vote.”
Ballots will be mailed out to voters on Oct. 15.
The tricky part, of course, is getting folks to actually cast ballots.
We have more than 3.7 million voters, but the turnout for the primary was 1,161,575.
That’s less than one-third, and kind of pathetic.
By all means, go to a website and register, but follow through and actually mail back the ballot next month with your votes.
