Democrat held a media circus at the state Capital Thursday to showcase their solutions to end gun violence that includes enriching trial lawyers, giving teacher unions the power to confiscate guns, and waiting periods for future victims to obtain protection.
At least that’s how we read the whole dog-and-pony show.

The lawmakers announced individual bills that would expand the red flag law to allow teachers, prosecutors, and health care providers to ask judges to confiscate weapons and violate our 2nd Amendment rights.
Another bill would raise the minimum age to purchase rifles or shotguns to 21. Unless they serve in the military. Or they are law enforcement. Or hunters. Basically, Democrats believe everyone who is 18 cannot be trusted to safely handle a gun unless they have a job or hobby that requires a gun.
ICYMI: other states have tried this and it’s been overturned in court as unConstitutional.https://t.co/t2Paz3e16i
How about we ban politicians from passing bills that are known to be unConstitutional?#copolitics #coleg

Democrats believe a three-day waiting period from the time of purchasing a gun to taking possession of said weapon will also stop gun violence.
Reports indicate that one of those bills might be a “waiting period” for gun-buyers. I urge you to call that bill the “Carol Browne Is Just Out of Luck Act,” in memory of the NJ gal who was slain by an ex while waiting for a gun permit: https://t.co/dBNXVn8Jvt#copolitics #coleg https://t.co/WmCeZJZT6D

The cherry on top is legislation that would make it easier for trial lawyers to get rich from suing manufacturers and merchants if customers use their product to commit a crime.
But wait, there’s more bills coming our way, the Colorado Sun reports:
Colorado Democrats are also expected to unveil a bill at the Capitol this year regulating so-called ghost guns, which are homemade and can’t be traced. It’s also possible that a measure banning the sale and transfer of so-called assault weapons is introduced, though the governor has signaled he opposed the policy.
We expect all this crap will pass the House and Senate, and Gov. Polis, who is mapping his road to the White House, is expected to embrace the flawed and unconstitutional measures to appease the Democrat base.
