Gov. Polis is running in third place as the choice among official Washington-dom to challenge President Biden for reelection in the Democrat Party’s primary elections next year.
The Washington Post released their updated Top 10 list of potential Democrat candidates after Biden made his official announcement he was running for reelection to the Senate White House.
Here’s the list.
- Pete Buttigieg, Transportation Secretary
- Kamala Harris, Vice President
- Jared Polis, Colorado Dictator
- Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan governor
- Gavin Newsom, governor of LaLa land
- Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania governor
- Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota senator
- Bernie Sanders, perennial presidential candidate
- Raphael Warnock, Georgia Senator
- Tied between Govs. Phil Murphy and J.B. Pritzker of Illinois and New Jersey
Polis has fallen behind as the most popular gay politician in the Democrat Party, losing to a guy made famous by never being on the job when disaster strikes.
But just wait until Democrats learn about Polis’s scheme to tax Coloradans twice with yearly increases, disguised as a property tax cut. That will totally turn on those tax and spenders!
And while Buttigieg made a name for himself by declaring roads as racist, Polis will trump that if he signs the Pollution Protection Bill passed by the House this week that proclaims air is racist.
Both men are worthy candidates among the party’s elites for deflecting discrimination based on color from pale white dudes to inanimate objects and smog.
Not among the Post’s worthy mentions of other candidates are either of Colorado’s senators who both ran for president in 2020: John Hickenlooper and Mike Bennet.
So that’s an improvement.
