A federal judge has blocked Colorado’s wildly unconstitutional law from taking effect on Tuesday that would raises the age to 21 to buy firearms.
The ruling shows the law will likely go down in flames as the case proceeds and comes as a major blow to Democrat state lawmakers who think the U.S. Constitution was written in chalk.
Good job #coleg Democrats.
Not only did you pass yet another gun law that won’t have any effectiveness, you violated Constitutional Rights in the process. #copolitics #coleg https://t.co/xL8HhzL8r2

To review, “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” was written in ink.
According to Chief U.S. District Judge Phillip A. Brimmer, Gov. Polis’s lawyers failed to demonstrate exactly how the Second Amendment allows states to ban purchases to people ages 18-20.
It could take years for the federal lawsuit to be resolved, Colorado Politics reports.
The law made exceptions for those in the military or law enforcement, but not for ranchers, hunters, farmers, or victims of domestic violence.
