Colorado Democrats are in a meltdown after Donald Trump addressed the growing number of violent migrants here and in other states due to “Border Czar” Harris’s mass migration policies.

The minute he mentioned Aurora during Tuesday’s debate, Democrat spinmeister Kyle Clark of 9News sprung into action to sneer at the former president and quibbled over Trump’s verb construction.

Here’s what Trump said:

“And you see what’s happening. You see what’s happening with towns throughout the United States. You look at Springfield, Ohio. You look at Aurora, in Colorado. They are taking over the towns. They are taking over buildings. They are going in violently. These are the people that she and Biden let into our country, and they’re destroying our country. They’re dangerous. They’re at the highest level of criminality. And we have to get them out. We have to get them out fast.”

Dangerous migrants in the form of Tren de Aragua are making their violent presence known in several Aurora apartment buildings.

In connection with a shooting at an apartment complex off Nome Street, two of those arrested are documented members of the gang, two additional arrests are linked to the gang, according to Aurora police.

Aurora Police confirmed in recent days that at least 10 members of the dangerous Tren de Aragua gang have been identified in the city and eight arrested.

The presence of these violent gang members is not limited to Aurora. Four men linked to the gang were indicted for a violent jewelry store heist in Denver.

In Arapahoe County, four gang members were arrested a few weeks ago on various charges including car thefts and drugs.

If that wasn’t enough, Homeland Security reported intelligence this summer that gang members were given the green light to kill Colorado police officers.

Rather than confront the problem head on before it does spiral out of control, Democrats and many in the establishment media would rather argue the gang problem is not widespread.

That won’t be a comfort to their victims.

Aurora Mayor Coffman and Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky, the only public officials willing to admit gangs are becoming an issue, are also trying to clarify the gang has not “taken over” their city.

They issued a joint statement to clarify that gang activity in theirs and surrounding towns is limited to specific crimes, or in the case of the apartments, limited territory.

Unlike politicians and journalists, human beings speak in generalities. Trump’s point is that because of the open borders, dangerous people like this gang “are taking over” in numerous U.S. cities.

Do we really have to keep quibbling this means they are committing crimes in greater numbers?

The rise of Tren de Aragua activity in the U.S. is illustrating the differences between the Democrat and Republican Parties.

Democrats are slow to acknowledge this problem, and in general coddle and make excuses for all criminals without regard for the damage to victims or the impact on community — unless the criminal is white.

Republicans are tough on crime, period. It has and always will be a central plank of the GOP to punish dangerous criminals and protect the innocent.

The criminals’ race, religion, sex, or nationality has not and should not ever be a factor in prosecution.

In the United States of America, justice is still blind.

Kudos to Aurora for trying to acknowledge and fix the problem while fending off annoying social media gossip.

But don’t get bogged down in Democrats’ game of blind man’s bluff to pretend there’s nothing to see here or quibble over grammar.

Clearly, a trend of Tren de Aragua gang activity is trying to establish itself on the Front Range. It’s time to admit we have a problem and do something about it.
