U.S. Rep. Yadira Caraveo is trying to fool voters in her first and only Spanish language commercial to air just four weeks before ballots are mailed.

The freshman Democrat serving Colorado’s new 8th District makes numerous brags about her achievements, yet nearly all were merely votes she cast years ago in the state legislature before she was even elected to Congress.

Like taxpayer funded “free” kindergarten for some folks, and creating a bureaucracy to review drug costs that hasn’t really lowered any costs.

The most absurd claim is that she cuts wasteful spending, when Congress has spent $12 trillion in the last two years.

Axios Denver was also suspicious about her alleged budgetary cred:

In response to a question about the claim, her campaign pointed Axios Denver to a Republican Party press release touting that the budget bill cut $100 million in spending requested by President Biden.

Then she voted against the GOP measure but voted for a Democrat measure.

Without a hint of hypocrisy, her campaign proceeded to brag how that was also being bipartisan.
