Today, Democratic state Senator and Seventh Congressional candidate Andy Kerr touted his endorsement from fellow Democrat Alice Madden. And the Twitters were hilarious. Here are just a few of the responses:
WAIT:
This Alice Madden…
is Endorsing Andy Kerr??#copolitics #CO07 pic.twitter.com/6J5w5c7U6f— Chris P. Bacon (@CPBacon4CO) July 27, 2017
That’s right, as a candidate for University of Colorado Regent, Alice Madden liked one of the most offensive tweets in recent memory on #copolitics when political operative Laura Chapin mistakenly tried to ask AFP’s Michael Fields, whose father is black, to check his white privilege. Of course Fields offered a blistering response. It was amazing, but also super outrageous that someone who hoped to represent young adults would like such an offensive post.
And, then, there was this reaction. Ouch. Burn.
Odd to trumpet the endorsement of the first Democrat to lose statewide in a presidential year since Kerry ’04#COpolitics https://t.co/y5wGppNfAk

But, hey, if Kerr thinks it’s helpful to tout the endorsement of a racist loser, who are we to get in the way? Carry on, sir!
