Several days have passed since U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper pontificated about a new and improved Taliban as he nuzzled up to President Biden during the disastrous exodus of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.
What will the Taliban of the future look like, Hickenlooper pondered?
“Are they going to try and actually be a more responsible government and represent all their people? We don’t know that yet.”
Here’s your answer, Hick.
In this video, two members of the Taliban group are seen whipping alongside a police ranger, and a woman’s voice, crying, and crying, while a group of men watch this scene closely.
It is not clear what the Taliban are whipping this woman for. https://t.co/hz1488BcCh— Derry Chambers Esq. (@jeremydepots) September 13, 2021

In Kabul city, Salang Watt. Their fate unknown. Hands tied and thrown into the trunk. How do Taliban officials answer for these unlawful detentions? pic.twitter.com/Q7x4guwkPU

Even CNN is reporting on the atrocities already underway just two weeks after U.S. forces were haphazardly withdrawn under Commander in Chief Biden’s orders.
(CNN)Taliban fighters used whips and sticks against a group of women protesting in Kabul on Wednesday following the announcement of a hardline, male-only interim government, in the group’s latest crackdown on dissent in Afghanistan.
The women were also protesting to draw attention to the death of a pregnant police officer, which they blame on the Taliban.
Journalists who had the audacity to try and cover this protest were tortured and beaten by the Taliban.
Afghan journalists say Taliban forces tortured them with batons, whips and electric cables for filming a women’s protest.
The Taliban also beat women protesters. At least 14 reporters have reportedly been detained and/or tortured this week, despite assurances of press freedom. pic.twitter.com/36oXxzlvuX

Are Hickenlooper and U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet turning a blind eye to the atrocities already underway in Afghanistan?
Or are they just buying the Taliban’s propaganda, like this demonstration of burqa-clad women shouting “death to America” and holding signs (also in English) claiming they support the new regime?
Don’t pay any attention to all those armed guards. This is just what free will under Sharia law looks like, according to the State Department Taliban.

Meet the new Taliban, same as the old Taliban.
It’s too bad neither of Colorado’s senators plan to even be seen with the president during his visit here Tuesday afternoon, or they could act like responsible lawmakers and confront our nation’s weak-kneed leader on his failed foreign policies that are making America a target for a new generation of terrorists.
