Gov. Polis and Democrats are playing election year politics when they claim to want stronger criminal penalties for those caught selling or in possession of enough fentanyl to kill a person.
They are hoping voters will forget that Polis signed the Democrat-controlled legislature’s bill in 2019 to decriminalize possession of up to four grams of fentanyl from a felony to a misdemeanor.
How much can kill a person?
Curious which legislators are holding this up. #copolitics #coleg https://t.co/LZGteNKm04

The tragic death of five people at a Commerce City apartment where a four-month-old baby was found and hospitalized has brought Polis’s folly to the forefront.
Even 9News caught it, they just buried that little tidbit in their report.
A summary of #coleg dems public safety agenda.
✔️Reduce penalties for fentanyl possession.
✔️Ban extra ketchup packets. #copolitics https://t.co/fhHxAy2bJW

Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for paying lip service to the tragedy of increased fentanyl overdoses their own polices have helped create.
We searched the state legislature’s database of bills to see if Democrats have filed any dealing with fentanyl overdoses or recriminalizing the drug, none are listed.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, which explains Colorado’s voters who keep voting Democrat and the decline of our state under that party’s rule.
