Gov. Polis called the cops and reported an Aurora city councilwoman after she made a public plea for him to contact her about Venezuelan gang activity that he and other Democrats continue to deny.

Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky said she had video evidence of a crime so haunting it could not be denied — unlike the others he keeps denying.

But instead of agreeing to speak with her, Polis narced her out as withholding evidence of a crime reporting her to her city’s own law enforcement as well as Polis’s state police.

Using political power to abuse the legal system and arrest their Republican opponents is the kind of dick move we’ve come to expect from Democrats like Polis.

Denverite broke the story:

“If the city council member is holding on to evidence of a crime, she should reach out to law enforcement immediately. The governor’s office takes any potential for evidence of a crime very seriously and alerted state law enforcement of the council woman’s comments about potential video evidence, and they have been in touch with the Aurora Police Department,” said Polis spokeswoman Shelby Wieman.

Just like the governor took seriously the videos and other evidence of Venezuelan gang members taking over assaulting and harassing residents and breaking and entering apartments in Aurora?

Polis has zero interest in seeing any evidence of crimes committed by Kamala’s border busters with bogus claims of asylum. And he proved it by calling the cops instead of Jurinsky.

“I’m asking you, governor, to put politics aside, and asking you to call me, to call me and see the videos that I am in possession of,” Jurinsky said. “Because we need leadership, Jared, and I’m asking you to stand alongside me. I hope you will call me.”

Polis is just pissed that Jurinsky led the effort by council Monday in voting to 6-2 to investigate whether the Polis administration along with Denver Mayor Johnston included Aurora when they spent $4.3 million to relocate the mass wave of border crossers out of Denver.

Aurora’s city attorney was instructed to use open records laws to obtain emails between the Polis and Johnston administrations and determine if there was collusion to relocate the migrants from Denver to Aurora.

The role played by non-government organizations paid for with taxpayer dollars is also being examined.

And that’s what really has Polis foaming at the mouth, because Hell hath no fury like a Democrat who promises transparency, and then is asked to provide it.
