In a week of candidate surprises, Republican Rep. Jared Wright delivered another yesterday. In a press conference, Rep. Wright pulled out of his re-election effort in H.D. 54 and endorsed his Republican opponent, Yuelin Willet. According to the Grand Junction Sentinel, Wright has faced a series of challenges that started even before his 2012 election. His most recent issue was leaving a loaded firearm in a committee hearing room.
But, who is Willet? Willet’s newly-launched website, ElectWillet.com, features a video of the candidate, partially narrated by his wife, about Willet’s background. The video also includes several endorsements for his campaign. See the video below.
