Why is one company being given the EXCLUSIVE rights to engage in this business? Why is any competition to be prohibited by law? Who are your elected officials that are sponsoring and co-sponsoring this sweetheart, special interest bill and why are they doing it? And why is the absence of an off tract, horse racing, betting parlor such a threat to the people that “the general assembly herby finds, determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.”?
Why it’s enough to make a taxpayer wonder how we ever survived pre-government involvement in the pony betting business. Read all about it and then ask yourself one final question; what are meadow muffins and where do they come from? And why did our Mothers always tell us to be careful not to step in the meadow muffins? Are you people really buying this H**** S***?
