Frequenters of the Peak aren’t surprised that Dean Singleton, err The Denver Post, endorsed Barack Obama today. Singleton all but humped the President’s leg at an Associated Press event earlier this year.

Denver Post publisher Singleton’s big words for Obama then make his endorsement of Obama little surprise now. Singleton clearly is smitten by Obama like a school girl. What the hell…this is America. Singleton is free to be smitten by whomever he pleases.
But as you consider the Post‘s endorsement this time, be sure not to forget the big words that the Post used back in 2008 to endorse Obama, promising he would be a bipartisan leader who would lead us to the Promised Land of Prosperity. Almost none of it was realized.

What’s the chance that Obama will reach out in such a bipartisan fashion? Actually, he has a long record of doing exactly that. We don’t mean his brief tenure in the Senate so much as his successful run as a community organizer in Chicago.
Republicans love to mock Obama’s history as a community organizer. But here was a man with no money to offer, no patronage to dispense, no way to punish his opponents. All he could do was to work with people from all walks of life, liberals and conservatives, business people and the unemployed, and bring them together in common cause for a better community. Could there really be better preparation to reunite a worried and divided America to again pursue our “more perfect union”?….
As novelist Christopher Buckley said in endorsing Obama, the Illinois senator “has a first-rate intellect and a first-rate temperament.”
With the help and prayers of the American people, we believe those talents can also make Barack Obama a great president.
Maybe you should research Singletons college background. You might be shocked!

Singleton evidently never took an accounting class while in college. He probably majored in Community Organizing and minored in Journalism.
This man is so astoundingly dishonest, he must definitely be high on the Kool-Aid! How could he possibly think this is the man to "lead America back to prosperity?" Has he never heard that if you continue what you're doing, you'll get the same results?
