Colorado beer brewers are doing their part to help with the disaster recovery in Houston by switching their production line from beer, to water.

We are somewhat alarmed, but recognize it’s for a tremendous cause, the right thing to do and all that, and we wish Houston a really, really speedy recovery.

The breweries switch-hitting for water production include Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont, which started a foundation after the 2013 floods to help disaster victims and has been producing water in emergency situations like Flint, Michigan.

The Denver Post reports on the beer-to-water effort, and noted that Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors are also turning their efforts to providing drinking water for the hurricane victims.

PeakNation™ is proud of all Coloradans who are coming to the aid of Texans in this still unfolding disaster.
