Democratic gubernatorial candidate and Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynne obviously thinks the Eastern Plains are part of Kansas. Or, that’s what we can deduce from her tour of Colorado. See the map of her stops below.

Her road trip includes the following stops: Fort Collins, Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Salida, Edwards, Grand Junction, and Durango. What about places like Burlington, which has a population not terribly dissimilar to Salida, Colorado? It could be argued that the Eastern Plains area, much like the Western Slope, has its own set of challenges. And, really, Lynne should know this already since she is the sitting Lieutenant Governor. Does Colorado’s Lieutenant Governor not care about the Eastern Plains?

Sad day for Colorado.
