From the “We told you so” files, comes this item from Channel 4 News in Denver — the minimum wage hike forced on restaurants is impacting prices while hurting the bottom line of these small business owners.

Jobs are being eliminated as many restaurants move to kiosk systems to place orders, and a wage disparity is forming between the wait staff and kitchen workers.

Sonia Riggs with the Colorado Restaurant Association says folks in the back of the house were already making minimum wage and saw no raise, while the highest paid workers, the servers, are getting a forced raise.

Meanwhile, customers are paying the price. We told you so.
