Our military men and women got a pay raise this week, no thanks to soon-to-be former Congressman Jared Polis.

President Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act into law yesterday, which 139 Democrats voted for, but millionaire Polis objected by voting no.

Polis wants taxpayers to foot the bill for the entire nation’s health care. And if elected governor, Polis wants Coloradans to pay for free, all-day kindergarten.

He just couldn’t find it in his conscience to give our military men and women who put their lives on the line every day a measly 2.6 percent raise.

He would rather the military rely on food stamps.

PeakNation™ will remember that the bill Polis voted against also provides $130 million for military bases in metro Colorado Springs.

When Polis realized that tens of thousands of troops are actually based in Colorado, supported by another 6,000 civilians who work with them, he went on a pandering tour to state veterans in a vain effort to collect their votes.

Polis even found another veteran to go with him, a Democratic congressman, from Massachusetts.

Thanks for nothing, Polis.
