Jared Polis, the original “no-show candidate.”

“Local political groups,” none of which were properly identified as Democrats and barely numbered a dozen, held a meeting in Grand Junction Saturday they labeled a town hall just to yell about U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton not showing up.

This just a week after the Democratic nominee for governor Jared Polis chickened out of an actual debate with Republican opponent Walker Stapleton at Club 20 in Grand Junction.

Sorry “local political groups,” but Polis has set the standard this election for what it truly means to be a “no-show” candidate.

Holding random events with 12 people just to get media hits like this on Republicans like Tipton is way off target.
