Here’s a newsflash — Colorado voters aren’t in the mood for a massive tax hike.

That’s supported by a new poll from Magellan Strategies on the transportation plans that go before the voters in a few weeks.

Proposition 110, “Let’s Go Colorado,” received a paltry 35 percent of support from voters who don’t mind a sales tax hike by 0.62 cents.

However, 52 percent are in favor of “Fix Our Damn Roads,” Proposition 109, which supports transportation through bonds, and payback through money already collected through taxes.

In other words, no new taxes.

If this no-new-tax bug is contagious, it could spell trouble for tax-and-spend liberals like Jared Polis.
