John Hickenlooper had a very bad, no good weekend campaigning at the California Democratic Party convention.

He was booed for party heresy proclaiming “socialism is not the answer” and panning universal health care.

Booed louder by insisting we can’t cure climate change by “guaranteeing every American a government job.”

So outraged was the party establishment, Hick couldn’t even win them back over with pledges to take on the National Rifle Association and demand universal background checks on all gun sales.

If the National Popular Vote compact was in place, Hickenlooper would have already lost the presidential race in losing the California base.
