Freshly spanked from the Democratic presidential primary, U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet returns to his alleged home this week for town hall meetings, presumably to gloat about his failure to impeach a president or become one himself.

While the Democratic presidential frontrunners are busy campaigning in the Denver area ahead of the Super Tuesday election in March, Bennet will dole out sloppy seconds to Littleton on Tuesday, then he will actually travel beyond the Front Range to meet with his supporters in Grand Junction on Thursday and Steamboat Springs on Friday.

Bennet dropped out of the presidential race after epoch last-place failures in Iowa and New Hampshire earlier this month.

There’s no real reason for Bennet to be wasting taxpayer dollars to hold these events.

He’s been so busy running for president, Bennet has accomplished next to nothing as Colorado’s senator so he has no news to tell us.

Then why is he really here?

Cause he’s broke.

Bennet has less than $90,000 in his Senate campaign war chest, so those “town hall meetings” are nothing more than a front for Bennet to raise money for his 2022 reelection campaign.
