Not just in the primary, where Hickenlooper has already turned in petitions to bypass his party’s convention that will be overrun with Bernie Bros.
A Sanders nomination could haunt Hickenlooper all the way to the General Election, Ciruli writes:
Cory Gardner will be the major beneficiary as moderate Republicans stay with the President and moderate Democrats abandon the ticket.
We agree there’s little to zero excitement for any of the 10 Democrats running for Colorado’s U.S. Senate Race.
So if Democrats are willing to abandon the race at the top of the ticket, voters are just as likely to forget about turning in their ballots for everyone on the ticket.
