As if we didn’t have enough trust issues with the media and government, now the COVID comes along and opens up a whole new box of stupid.
Take the mask mandate by the Glenwood Springs City Council.
Note the photographer describes how everyone is following the new rule in the cutline accompanying this picture.
Note the dude in the picture not actually wearing a mask. And, it’s not Glenwood Springs.
Also, we recall President Trump and Gov. Polis were fairly clear that folks should wear the homemade variety and not disposable masks, which should be saved for medical workers treating COVID-16 patients.
We’ll spell it out for you — federal and state officials refrained from issuing a mask mandate because they were afraid folks would use up medical masks needed to actually take care of sick people.
