What is John Hickenlooper up to that’s more important than participating in debates to inform voters where the Democrat stands on issues critical to Coloradans?

Hickenlooper and U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner should have held their first debate Tuesday in Colorado Springs.

Instead, Hickenlooper had more important campaign work to attend to, such as meeting with constituents, studying up on important issues, meetings with advisors.

Ha!

Just kidding.

If elected, rest assured Hickenlooper will prioritize watching sports over the pandemic, racial injustice, climate change, or any work at all.

Hickenlooper has rejected six debates with Gardner so far, including one event to be moderated by Hick’s leftist liberal buddies over at CNN.

Hickenlooper’s campaign team is only allowing the candidate to face off with Gardner at one debate in Pueblo just weeks before Election Day.

It’s a risky strategy, putting Hick’s gaffes out there so close to the election with little time to clean up after the messes he always makes.

We’ll see if it pays off for them.
