It’s tradition on the September 11 anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Washington and New York for members of Congress to remember the victims and praise the first responders who saved hundreds if not thousands of lives.
Every year the politicians promise to remember. But this year, it was noticeable when some Democrats didn’t.
With the chaos division of the Democrat Party leading riots every night in Portland and nearly every weekend in a major U.S. city demanding police be defunded, not everyone was willing to thank our armed first responders, like these guys:
And these officers.
And don’t forget this police officer.
But some did forget, including Democrat U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette, Ed Perlmutter, Joe Neguse, and Jason Crow.
Our nation was forever changed by the tragic events of #September11.
As we pause today to honor all those we lost that day, let us also reflect on how our country came together in the wake of such adversity & remind ourselves that our unity remains our greatest strength. pic.twitter.com/xJPltzDvqk

19 years ago today, our country experienced incredible loss and tragedy. Many Americans showed tremendous courage on 9/11 and my heart goes out to all the families still healing from loss. #NeverForget

The United States is strong and resilient, and we will always remember and honor all of those we lost 19 years ago on September 11th, 2001. May their families have peace and feel the support and love of our entire nation.

Those Democrats could not put aside petty politics on 9/11 of all days to thank the police officers at Ground Zero, or their own police officers who evacuated the Capitol and escorted lawmakers away from danger.
Who kept their word and remembrered? Republican U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner.
Today we honor the thousands of Americans who lost their lives 19 years ago, and our brave first responders who risked everything to save others.
Times like these define our nation because we show the world that Americans are united by our belief in our country’s resilience. pic.twitter.com/D7JaDBJ2CP

John Hickenlooper, the Democrat’s U.S. Senate candidate challenging Gardner, managed to thank first responders.
19 years ago, we lost 2,997 lives at the World Trade Center in New York City, Arlington, Virginia, and on a plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.
Today we honor the fallen, the first responders, and their families. #NeverForget

But it seems like Hick did forgot something.
Remember when you spent the relief money for 9/11?https://t.co/bIMzsgxK23

That’s it. Hick forgot to thank the taxpayers for paying his legal bills out of the 9/11 relief fund when he violated those ethics rules as governor.
