For those who missed John Hickenlooper’s train wreck of a debate performance, two opportunities remain to watch the Democratic Senate candidate roll off a cliff and burst into flames.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Today at 4 p.m., a debate taped Sunday airs on Telemundo in Spanish and English.
  • Friday Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. aired live on Denver7 and the Denver Post website, also hosted with Colorado Public Radio.
  • Tuesday Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. on 9News staring Kyle Clark’s hair.

No final word yet on whether Clark truly plans to censor the debate with a mute button.

It’s not needed to keep U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner from interrupting, but to keep the audience from hearing Hickenlooper’s whack-a-doodle responses:

Moderator: Mr. Hickenlooper, insurance premiums are so high under the state healthcare system you created, Coloradans can’t afford actual medical treatment. How will you fix Obamacare?

Hickenlooper: I smell like sunshine!

Next week’s debate will co-star Colorado Politics, PBS, Fort Collins Coloradoan, KRDO in Colorado Springs, KKCO and KJCT in Grand Junction, and KOBF in the Four Corners area.

But wait, there’s more.

Gardner is participating Tuesday in the Northwest Chamber Alliance’s virtual forums.

Gardner will take questions during today’s event from 11 a.m. to noon, which is hosted by the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce.

Hickenlooper is also participating in an alliance forum. Not today’s event with Gardner, but later next week, in Boulder, of course.
