The Denver Ethics Commission has agreed to investigate Denver Mayor Hancock for telling residents not to travel on Thanksgiving to be with family, just as he was getting on a plane to travel for Thanksgiving to be with family.
No word from Hancock on whether or not he even cares, and we’re betting he doesn’t.
Remember that time Hancock didn’t get in trouble for accepting a $40,000 Super Bowl trip paid for by corporations?
Or when Hancock and council members racked up $426,000 in free travel from DIA to places like Amsterdam and London?
Good times.
Or what about those sexual harassment claims by then-Denver Detective Leslie Branch-Wise?
God speed to the Ethics Commission if they plan to actually do anything about Hancock’s behavior.
Now that he’s term-limited from running for reelection, someone might actually stand up to him.
