U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper has some odd priorities.

It wasn’t worthy to mention Jan. 20 was the one year anniversary that a patient was diagnosed with COVID-19 in the U.S.

But this rises to the top of Hickenlooper’s priorities.

Hickenlooper raised nearly $41 million for his Senate race, outspending incumbent Republican Cory Gardner, who by comparison brought in a meager $28.7 million.

Hickenlooper is literally the poster child for special interests toying with elections.

That’s why it’s so odd he would call for lawmakers to make this a top priority, especially when Coloradans are focused on getting COVID-19 under control to save lives, our economy, and to get our kids back in school.

Whatever campaign finance reform Hick has in mind, you can bet it’s to limit funding from Republican sources and not Democrat money machines.
