The reviews are in and Colorado’s Democratic congressional delegation is pretending President Biden’s first press conference never even happened.
Not a single talking point did they echo.
Not one issue did they embrace.
Not one acknowledgement from U.S. Sens. Michael Bennet or John Hickenlooper, U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette, Ed Perlmutter, Jason Crow, or Joe Neguse.
It’s as if their own party’s president did absolutely nothing of significance beyond managing to stay awake throughout his own press conference.
At least we think he did.
He’s running the largest Superpower 🇺🇸 in the world.

Conversely, the state’s Republican delegation had some things to say about the few issues on which Biden was questioned by only 10 reporters (no conservatives) for more than an hour.
U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert live-tweeted the event with more than 15 comments.
Biden: “I don’t want to become the issue [at the border.]”
You already are the issue. #BidenBorderCrisis

Joe Biden should not be encouraging migrant children to take the dangerous trek to America. Human traffickers & cartels are exploiting Biden’s open-border policies & using children to gain access into the interior of the country. This is a humanitarian crisis. #BidenBorderCrisis

Biden got lots of questions on his invisible border policy and lack of transparency about the horribly over-crowded conditions endured by the children and adults who flooded the border after the Democrat was sworn into office.
Biden did agree to be transparent and let reporters visit, but only after he gets the mess straightened out.
Surprisingly, not a single reporter asked about the most pressing issue that continues to face the U.S. — the pandemic and its impact on the economy and employment numbers.
Demerits to the press corps for failing to follow up with any meaningful questions — like how the filibuster is racist now, but not when Biden or former U.S. Senator/ President Obama employed it?
